Acrylic painting is something I learned from my grandmother, and over the past few years, it has become a special way for us to connect. What began as learning a new creative skill together has grown into a shared hobby and a bond that I treasure. I love that each painting carries a little piece of the time we have spent creating side by side.
Recently, I have also been enjoying paint-by-numbers as a way to shut my mind off after a long day.
Watercolor is a newer creative adventure for me. I first discovered it through Emily Studio’s watercolor books, which introduced me to the joy of painting small, whimsical characters. Since then, I have been slowly moving from painting on outlines to experimenting on my own. I love the playful nature of watercolor and the way even a small painting can have its own personality.
I first discovered pottery in high school and have continued coming back to it ever since. There is something especially satisfying about starting with a simple piece of clay and slowly shaping it into something useful. I especially enjoy making bowls and trays, pieces that are both functional and imperfectly handmade, meant to be used and enjoyed every day.
