Creating Across Seasons of Life
My creative interests have evolved over time, but the joy of making has remained constant. What began with pottery in high school grew into a collection of creative practices that continue to challenge and inspire me.
I have always loved creating, but when my dad was diagnosed with ALS, crafting took on a new meaning in my life. At first, it gave me somewhere to turn when I needed to take my mind off everything happening around me. Over time, though, I developed a deeper appreciation for the joy and meaning found in small things, whether flipping through art books with my grandma to find inspiration for a new canvas or putting together scrapbooks and photo albums for my family as Christmas gifts. Creating became a way for me to stay grounded in family and love, and to continue noticing the joy and blessings that surround us, even in times of profound grief.

I created this website as a visual diary of that perspective and of my pursuit of a beautiful, intentional life. It is a collection of the moments I have captured on camera, the pottery I have shaped by hand, the paintings I have created alongside my grandma, and the jewelry my mom and I spend hours sourcing together. More than a collection of things I have made or found, it is a collection of the people, moments, and memories that have made creating so meaningful to me.
